14 DAY TRIAL // Codemasters has just posted a teaser trailer for what seems to be Grid 3, the next entry in the racing franchise, which will get a full reveal on April 22.
Grid 2 appeared last year in May and Codemasters had quite a bit of success with the intense racing game, managing to strike a good balance between arcade controls and simulator-style mechanics.
Unfortunately, it wasn't as popular as the UK developer had hoped and it seems that it's already going to launch a sequel, at least according to a teaser trailer that's just appeared online.
This isn't a DLC pack or anything like that, as Codemasters revealed on NeoGAF that "Just a heads up, this isn't DLC." The studio also mentioned that cockpit view might make a comeback, after it wasn't present in last year's game.
Unfortunately, not much else was revealed and the teaser trailer doesn't show any actual footage or details about the new game.
As such, we need to wait until April 22, when Codemasters is set to make the proper reveal of the next Grid game. Still, you can check out the short but sweet teaser trailer below and enjoy the sounds of quite a few different racing cars.
