KAZ: Pushing the Virtual Divide is a documentary about the passionate endeavor behind Gran Turismo, and the driven and creative mind that started it all, Kazunori Yamauchi.

The film follows the game's fifteen-year evolution and Kazunori Yamauchi's commitment to relentlessly challenge himself and continually push the boundaries of the virtual experience offered through Gran Turismo.

Through PlayStation's support, Kazunori Yamauchi's pursuit of perfection has changed the gaming and automotive landscape and our conception of art, entertainment and culture, and how they intersect with each other.

The documentary was filmed in twelve international locations, over the course of a year, directed by Tamir Moscovici and captured by illustrious cinematographer Anthony Arendt, the duo that created Urban Outlaw, a successful success story following an unconventional Porsche customizer.

KAZ: Pushing the Virtual Divide will premiere on Hulu on January 22. On the same day, a round table discussion with Kazunori Yamauchi and three other involved personalities will be broadcasted on Twitch, complete with giveaways of Gran Turismo 6 in-game credits.
