14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Polyphony Interactive and publisher Sony are ready to reveal that the Mount Panorama track in Australia, also known as Bathurst, will be included in the upcoming Gran Turismo 6 for the first time.
Kazunori Yamauchi, the leader of the team, says, “Described by some as Australia’s very own Nurburgring, this is a formidable track that will provide an exciting new challenge for PlayStation gamers.”
The Bathurst track is located in New South Wales and has first hosted a race in 1938.
The circuit is 6.213 km long and has some twisty sections and steep climbs, forcing racers to continually adapt their speed in order to keep the ideal line.
Gran Turismo 6 arrives on PlayStation 3 on December 6 and will include 1,200 cars and variations and more than 70 tracks to race on.
The next installment in the series might be delivered on the PS4.
