The development team at Firaxis has launched another trailer for the Gods & Kings expansion for Civilization V, showing gamers the way culture and religion will be handled in the new content and how they open up a number of new possibilities for world conquest and domination.

The big addition in the expansion pack is religion, which allows players to design their own beliefs and then use them in order to expand their influences or to simply make their empire stronger than ever.

The Gods & Kings expansion will also deliver two new types of city states to ally with or conquer, nine new civilizations to play with, each with its own style and leader, three new scenarios, including a far future one, a number of new buildings and units to use.

Firaxis also promises a remade and much better combat system on both land and sea for this new version of Civilization V.
