Bandai Namco has published a pretty lengthy trailer for the upcoming PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 exclusive God Eater 2: Rage Burst.

The trailer is a good six minutes long, offering a look at some of the game's anime cutscenes, as well as some of the gameplay systems, such as combat and character customization.

The God Eater franchise started out on the PlayStation Portable with Gods Eater Burst, which developer Shift also localized and launched in the West.

This year, the series celebrates its fifth anniversary, with the release of the God Eater 2: Rage Burst expansion, an enhanced edition of the original, also marking the series' debut on the PS4.

The role-playing game enables the player to take on the role of a young warrior who goes up against powerful creatures in a wide assortment of missions. The game also supports cooperative mode and offers over 100 single-player missions.

God Eater 2: Rage Burst is scheduled for take off in Japan on February 19, for the PS Vita handheld and the PS4 home console from Sony.

For the time being, the publisher has not revealed any plans to localize the title and release it overseas, but we'll be patiently waiting for the news to come.
