Independent developer Space Budgie has created a unique type of puzzle game that will challenge its players in a very distinct manner, titled Glitchspace and featured on Steam Greenlight.

Glitchspace is a first-person programming game, allowing its players to manipulate their environment through the use of a custom visual scripting language. Users will have to fix or alter the behavior of various in-game elements in order to successfully navigate levels inside a cyberspace world.

Players will have to venture in the virtual world and find glitches, and then exploit them in various ways, with a lot of secrets to uncover and a lot of freedom afforded regarding the ways in which puzzles can be solved.

Glitchspace has been in development since mid-2013 and is currently in alpha, with a release date slated for Q2 2014, for Windows, Mac and Linux. The game has also been developed to support Oculus Rift for a more immersive experience.

The game is currently featured on Steam Greenlight, in an effort to gauge interest from the community and reach a larger audience.
