The developers at French publisher Ubisoft working on the upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier have released a new video for the game, showing off how the team created the movements and the animations that will be used in the game.

The team contacted and used former SEAL operatives in order to perform the motion capping and have then used their moves to tweak the in-game animations and the cover system for the shooter.

The main character has been revealed as using more than 2,500 animations during the course of the game.

The PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 versions of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be launched during May, with a beta stage launched during April.

The game will use Kinect for some of its core gameplay mechanics, including the weapon customization.

A PC version, which is free-to-play, will be launched late during 2012 and will be focused on the multiplayer side of the game.
