Sony is now offering a major discount for those who sign up for a PlayStation Visa card

Those who sign up for a special Sony PlayStation-branded Visa card can now take advantage of a special $100 (around €75.98) discount on the PlayStation Vita Instant Game Collection Bundle that comes with the console.

Customers will also get a 1-year subscription to PlayStation Plus, and much more.

The PS Vita has been struggling in terms of sales ever since its came out one year ago, but Sony is determined to make customers notice its handheld platform.

The latest marketing effort combines it with the Sony PlayStation Visa card that offers holders special points that can be redeemed for games, hardware, or PSN codes.

Those who get the special card can now take advantage of another deal, in the form of a discount on the PlayStation Vita Instant Game Collection bundle.

The package includes a 3G+Wi-Fi PS Vita, a free copy of Unit 13, a 4GB memory card, and a 1-year subscription to PlayStation Plus, which means access to the Instant Game Collection that's filled with free titles.
