Nvidia has just announced a brand new promotion that will see anyone who buys select GeForce graphics cards receive a free copy of Splinter Cell: Blacklist for the PC platform until the end of the year at different retailers.

AMD has been overtaking Nvidia in terms of game bundles with its cards, but the company isn't backing away from the fight, as it's just confirmed a special partnership with Ubisoft.

As a result, anyone who buys one of the participating Nvidia graphics cards (GTX 660, 660 Ti, 670, 680, 760, 770, or 780) will receive a free copy of Splinter Cell: Blacklist Deluxe edition for the PC.

According to Nvidia, experts from the hardware company worked closely with the developers at Ubisoft Toronto so that the PC edition of Blacklist takes full advantage of Nvidia technologies like tessellation, HBAO+, TXAA, or Nvidia Surround.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is out on August 21 in North America, and August 23 in Europe. The promotion lasts until the end of the year.
