A listing for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition has been spotted on the Brazilian Advisory Rating Board website, leading many to believe that an Xbox One remaster might be on the way.

There's no information regarding platforms in the listing, but the rumor that Splash Damage is working on a remaster, supervised by Black Tusk, has been making the rounds for quite a while.

The project was even leaked last month, with a new batch of reports popping up, pointing to Epic Games' shooter making a revival on the Xbox One.

For the time being, there is no official information on the title, and nobody knows whether Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will only include the first incarnation of the popular third-person shooter or the entire trilogy.

The franchise is viewed as the one of Xbox's most powerful properties, and many gamers are looking forward to a fourth installment. It seems that they will have to wait a while longer though, if the rumors do turn out to be true.

In any case, we're sure to find out more during Microsoft's press conference event at E3 next month. The company is most likely this tight-lipped due to the fact that it intends to surprise people. However, the cat is somewhat out of the bag.
