Epic Games has confirmed that the Horde Command downloadable content pack for Gears of War 3 has been delayed, and won't make its intended release that should have happened today, November 1.

Gears of War 3 has delighted millions of gamers from all over the world since its release in September, and many were certainly looking forward to seeing the first piece of actual downloadable content be released for it, in the form of the Horde Command add-on.

While the DLC was originally scheduled to arrive today, Epic Games, the developer of Gears of War, has revealed that it's been "temporarily delayed due to a technical issue."

No word on just what issue could have forced this delay, but you can imagine it was pretty serious to make Epic miss the intended release date.

The studio has yet to mention a new launch date for the Horde Command DLC, so expect more details in the future. Let's hope the next add-on, RAAM's Shadow, won't be plagued by such issues and make its December 13 release date.
