The Game of Thrones, a role-playing game that French studio Cyanide is developing, has received an MA 15+ rating from the Australian Classification Board, with the organization saying that it contains “strong violence, sexual violence and coarse language.”

The fact that the game has been rated on at least one major market suggests that the development process is pretty far along and that a majority of the content for the game is now in place and that the core mechanics are locked down.

The classification also mentions that the game is set to launch on the Xbox 360, although Cyanide has stated that it will also be released on the PlayStation 3 and the PC.

The game will be based on the Game of Thrones television series from HBO and will watch the destinies of two new characters that often cross paths with the main characters of the A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels.

Cyanide has not mentioned an official launch date for the Game of Thrones RPG.
