Katsura Hashino, the game director of the Persona 5 project and the entire series based on the same universe, is ready to apologize to gamers for the delay that affected the official reveal of the new title.

He is quoted by Siliconera as saying in a Famitsu interview that, “we’ve caused you fans who’ve been supporting Atlus to worry, and we haven’t been able to find the right timing to bring you any announcements, so we truly apologize for that.”

The developer also insists that the entire development team is working to make sure that Persona 5 is a quality experience that will satisfy all their expectations.

He says that the main aim for the title is to create pleasant memories for the fans.

Persona 5 will be launched exclusively on the PlayStation 3 in winter 2014 and more details are expected to arrive before the end of the year.
