Terraria, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Path of Exile are other strong performers

Raptr, a gaming service that tracks activity on the PC and the Xbox 360, says that its figures show that Grand Theft Auto V from developer Rockstar and publisher Take Two is the most played title of the year, beating other high-profile releases.

The data is based on the 309-day period after the gamed was launched. Another strong performer is Call of Duty: Ghosts from Infinity Ward and Activision.

The most played DLC is the 1.2 version of Terraria, while Path of Exile is named the most played new intellectual property.

IGN also has a big infographics from Raptr, which shows exactly what other titles players enjoyed this year.

The figures coming from the service are interesting, but the platform limitations and the fact that users need to opt-in to use Raptr means that they might not represent the situation for all gamers.
