Grand Theft Auto V has been confirmed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, but this doesn’t mean that Rockstar won’t bring it to other devices, as the studio has confirmed that it’s considering other platforms, like the PC or Nintendo Wii U.

GTA V is without a doubt one of the biggest games to appear in 2013 and Rockstar has confirmed recently that it will be released in the spring of next year only for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

This quickly made owners of other platforms, especially the PC, assault Rockstar with desperate pleas and angry demands about bringing GTA to their devices.

According to Rockstar, the game will appear for the PS3 and Xbox 360, although “everything else is up for consideration,” according to an interview with IGN.

Rockstar stresses that it’s not working with a hardware company to publish the game, meaning it can freely choose where it brings the game, although it needs to have “the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market.”

Given previous examples, like L.A. Noire, it’s possible to see GTA V come out on consoles in spring, and for the PC, or even the Wii U, at the end of 2013.
