14 DAY TRIAL // We reported last week that Rockstar was working on a fix that might or might not give back GTA Online players their lost characters, money and items.
Unfortunately, the developers have just confirmed that this is not possible and the upcoming “stimulus package” containing $500k in-game money will be enough to make amends for these issues.
“For those asking about their lost characters or rank, those will not be able to be restored so we sincerely hope that this cash stimulus we’re giving out this month will help you get back on your feet or to make your new life in Los Santos & Blaine extra sweet,” says Rockstar.
The stimulus package will be offered to all those who have played or will play GTA Online this month. The amount will be delivered to players into two deposits of $250k by the end of this week. Stay tuned for more on this one.
