Change the player skin and weather, spawn new things, and make other modifications to GTA 5 on PC with this tool

Grand Theft Auto 5 has just received a brand new mod in the form of Script Hook V which allows players to toggle all sorts of options and change them as they see fit. From the weather to traffic, pedestrians or the player skins, many things can be modified in the single-player story mode.

GTA 5 launched on the PC last week, and while some modders expressed their displeasure that developer Rockstar used heavy encryption on the game's files to prevent tampering, this hasn't stopped others.

After seeing a few different mods appear in recent days, a brand new tool is available on the GTAForums in the form of Script Hook V.

For the technically inclined, the tool is a library that allows players to use GTA 5 script native functions in custom plugins.

In layman's terms, you can use this nifty little mod to change your player skin, teleport, employ cheats, but also to modify the weather, traffic, pedestrians, and many other things.

The latest version of the game, 1.0.335.2, supports the tool and its creator also implemented a feature that disables the custom scripts when the player goes into the GTA Online multiplayer, so there are very little chances that Rockstar will detect the mod and punish users.
