PS4 and Xbox One owners around the world can already begin downloading the Ill-Gotten Gains update for Grand Theft Auto 5's GTA Online multiplayer mode. Meanwhile, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 owners will have to wait a bit more until the patch and the DLC go live for their own platforms.

GTA 5 launched on a wide array of devices throughout the last three years, and developer Rockstar Games has tried hard to keep every version updated with new content, improvements, and things to do in the GTA Online multiplayer mode.

After having launched the big online heists back in March, the studio promised to release today, June 10, worldwide the Ill-Gotten Gains update, which brings fresh content like cars, clothes, weapons, and other things to the multiplayer mode.

The actual content update is now available for download on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms, according to fans on Reddit. The actual sizes range seem to be around 6.5GB, so make some space if you want to get it as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 owners have to wait until the patch rolls out for GTA 5 on their own platforms.

As of yet, no changelog has been offered by Rockstar.

Update: PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners confirm that the content update is also available on their own platforms right now so start downloading. Still no word about a changelog from Rockstar.

Update #2: GTA 5 patch 1.27 changelog is now available.
