Clive Moody, the executive producer working on GRID 2 at Codemasters, says that at the moment, the single-player campaign of the game takes about 30 hours to complete, although the number might change before launch.

He tells VG247 that, “That’s doing everything we have to offer, all of the side events, promotional events and challenges as well. It’s a large experience that will keep people busy, and once they’ve blitzed that then online multiplayer is there.”

GRID 2 will update the core driving and physics models of the series and introduces a new progression system based on fans and auto clubs.

Codemasters is also introducing a complex multiplayer mode with dynamic circuit combinations.

GRID 2 will be out on the PC, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 on May 28 in the United States and three days later in Europe.
