Digital distribution service GOG has just kicked off a special promotion entitled Battle of the Games, in which users can vote on what games receive discounts every day.

GOG, formerly known as Good Old Games, is an online retailer specialized in selling classic games without any sort of Digital Rights Management (DRM) protection.

In order to draw in more users this summer, a special promotion has started, called Battle of the Games.

Each day, two titles will be nominated for a discount and users can vote on which receives the bigger price cut (60%), while the “loser” receives a 40% cut.

Today, the discounted games are Myst: Masterpiece Edition and 7th Guest, while the games available to vote are Alone in the Dark Collection (1+2+3) and Fahrenheit (aka Indigo Prophecy).

The promotion lasts for 17 days, so keep on checking out GOG’s website to cast your vote on which games you want to see discounted.
