Customers are finding it hard to contact support at the retailer

United Kingdom retailer chain GAME is reported to be canceling an unknown number of pre-order for the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony, which were supposed to be delivered to customers on November 29.

A NeoGAF thread says that a number of buyers have seen the status of their order changed to Canceled and they are invited to contact the company in order to solve the issue.

Apparently the support services at GAME are overloaded and the company seems unable to provide the hardware that has been pre-ordered.

The official Twitter account of the company states, "#GAMEPS4Launch PS4 pre-orders. If you're having an issue with your pre-order don't worry we can fix it. Email us: http://bit.ly/W6W5w7"."

The problem with that solution is that an answer to a support e-mail can take up to 72 hours to be delivered.

The PlayStation 4 has been available in the US since November 15 and has managed to sell 1 million devices in 24 hours.
