Fuse, the new shooter from Insomniac, will receive a demo closer to its release at the end of May and the studio confirmed that the title won't have an online pass or microtransactions.

Fuse is set to appear at the end of spring and Insomniac Games is promoting it through a variety of ways, including lengthy gameplay videos.

Now, the studio has revealed a FAQ in which it confirms that a demo for Fuse will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms as we get closer to the game's actual launch.

The title won't have an online pass and Insomniac hasn't implemented any microtransactions into the game, so players should have no reason to pass it up.

What's more, besides the story, the game also includes a wave-based cooperative mode called Echelon that will take players across six different maps and requires a lot of teamwork to survive.

Fuse is out for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 28, in North America, and May 31, in Europe.
