Electronic Arts once again discussed the possibility of seeing Frostbite 3-powered games on the Nintendo Wii U, saying that, while it's not impossible to make the engine run on the platform, it's currently a low priority.
EA surprised quite a few people when it confirmed that it currently has no Wii U games in development, largely blaming the powerful Frostbite 3 engine, which can't run on the underpowered Wii U.
Now, EA told DualShockers that it's currently focusing on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and that the Wii U is a low priority.
The company did note, however, that making Frostbite 3 work on Wii U isn't impossible and that, once the platform proves its popularity, EA will certainly get its games onto it.
Frostbite 3 powers practically all of EA's major upcoming titles, including Battlefield 4, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, the new Mass Effect, or Dragon Age: Inquisition.
