Electronic Arts has kicked off a massive promotion on its Origin digital distribution service on PC called On the House, which offers free games to all existing users, starting with Dead Space 1.

Origin has slowly but surely drawn in millions of users worldwide, especially with the recent release of Titanfall on the PC, which is available exclusively through the digital distribution service owned by Electronic Arts.

Now, in order to keep existing users interested in the marketplace and the Origin client, Electronic Arts has kicked off a new program called On the House.

The new offer brings free games for all Origins users to enjoy, according to the official announcement.

According to EA, there's no catch, although the titles will be available for free only for a limited period. During this time, you just need to head on over to their listing on Origin and click on the "Get it now" button. After that, the titles are tied to your library and can be downloaded and played whenever you want.

In order to kick off this series, Origin is offering Dead Space 1 completely free to all of its users. The title will cost nothing until May 8, so there's plenty of time to tie it to your account and enjoy the experience.
