It seems that the next Forza racing game is called Forza Horizon, dropping the Motorsport title and featuring some different type of gameplay, at least according to a trailer that was leaked on the web over the weekend.

Forza Motorsport games have delighted racing games fans on the Xbox 360 for quite some time, with Turn 10 Studios delivering lots of impressive experiences, not to mention plenty of DLC for the latest title, Forza Motorsport 4.

Now, it seems that a new installment in the series is coming this fall, in the form of Forza Horizon.

As you can see in the trailer above, which was leaked on YouTube via Kotaku, the title will focus on motorsport gatherings, similar to Need for Speed: ProStreet, for example.

For the first time in the series, the game will feature cars from Porsche, who previously had an exclusivity deal with EA’s Need for Speed series.

The trailer also mentions that the title is co-developed by Turn 10 with Playground Games, which is a new studio from the UK formed of veterans from other racing studios, including Codemasters.

Expect some official details soon enough but, until then, check out the trailer above.
