A brand new report has appeared online, hinting that another Forza Motorsport game might appear in 2014 for the Xbox One, at least according to a sportscar manufacturer who revealed that it had signed on with Microsoft to appear in a racing game this year, after last year's Forza Motorsport 5.

The Forza series has delivered some great experiences over the years and, with 2012's Forza Horizon, franchise owner Microsoft started using two developers to create new installments, bringing in Playground Games besides series founders Turn 10 Studios.

Now, after Forza Motorsport 5 from Turn 10, it seems that Playground Games is working on a Forza Horizon 2.

This report is backed up by a statement from Ultima Sports, a UK-based supercar manufacturer who revealed on Facebook, via Forzacentral, that it's signed on with Microsoft to bring its games into a new racing game for the Xbox One this year.

"We have also recently agreed a new contract with the Microsoft Corporation to be included in a new video game to be launched later in 2014," Ultima said. "The Ultima is proving to be very popular and is providing excellent worldwide publicity and recognition for our marque."

The statement has since been retracted but you can view it above.
