The development team at Epic Games is delivering a new trailer for their upcoming Fortnite, designed to serve as a re-introduction to the title that shows off the threat posed by the mysterious Storm and the types of enemies that gamers will be able to battle.

The title is designed to use the all-new Unreal Engine 4, which will be employed by the studio to deliver impressive environments, complex fort buildings, and fast paced and dynamic fire fights.

Epic Games states, "Players will band together online to explore the world for resources, build extravagant forts, find or build insane weapons and traps as they protect their towns from the strange monsters that emerge during the Storm."

The world that Fortnite will feature will be procedurally generated, which means that gamers will never have to play on the same map twice.

The title is designed to use core first-person shooter mechanics, but will focus heavily on each player's ability to work with his teammates.

Fortnite is supposed to be launched sometime before the end of 2014 and has only been confirmed for the PC, although it could also be ported to the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.
