The development team at Sports Interactive working on Football Manager 2014 has so far offered many details on the core mechanics and now it is ready to talk about the way the Editor can be used by players to customize their management experience.

It’s now easier for players to search for teams or players who they want to tweak and there are more options for the modifications that can be implemented.

A full list of the new features are offered on the Football Manager 2014 official forums.

Miles Jacobson, the leader of the Sports Interactive team, states, “you can make your own challenges using the challenge editor and, of course, share these with everyone in the Football Manager community via Steam Workshop.”

The team is also creating an in-game editor, with a more limited set of options, that can be bought from the official store of FM 2014.

The new features are made possible by the Steamworks integration that was announced when the title was unveiled.

The football management sim will be out on the PC on October 31.
