John Linden, the leader of the Beachhead development studio, says that the first Clan War for Call of Duty: Ghosts, which will start on November 25, is designed to act as a testing stage in order to allow players to become acquainted with the experience and developers to iron out all issues that might pop up.

He states via the One of Swords community blog that one of the issues that are still under debate is how long clans will have to recover between two phases of the new mode.

Linden says, “There might be a little downtime, and we’ve had a lot of different feedback on that — maybe we should wait a couple of days, maybe just 12 hours. So we’ll probably test out a few different things on that and see where we end up.”

The Clan War mode is designed to allow all players to engage in a meta-game where they can earn bonuses and rewards by simply playing classic multiplayer matches.
