14 DAY TRIAL // The development team working on Firefly Online says that it has managed to convince all the members of the original cast of the television series on which the game is based to reprise their roles in order to create a complex and immersive experience for fans.
The announcement reveals that Nathan Fillion, who has gone to become the star of the Archer series, will once again become the iconic captain Mal Reynolds in order to school players about the core mechanics and lore of the title.
At the same time, Alan Tudyk, who played Hoban aka Wash Washburne, will also play a number of other roles in Firefly Online.
Michael Fairman will also once more become Adelei Niska.
An official trailer for Firefly Online has also been launched, allowing gamers to get a first look at the core gameplay for the title.
The developers say that they want to create a title that has all the core elements of the TV show and allows fans to create their own ship, recruit their own crew, and then run jobs based on their interests, either as a good or a bad guy.
At the moment, Firefly Online does not have an official launch date but all those interested can sign up for a future beta period.
