14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Firaxis and publisher 2K Games have released one single screenshot that shows players the characters they can get as part of the Elite Soldiers Pack, which is only offered to those who are ready to put down a pre-order for XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
The pack includes the new Hyperion and Reaper soldier armors, one character taken from the original XCOM game that was launched during the 90’s and a full color customization feature for all the in-game sets of armor.
The new XCOM will keep the same core concepts as its inspiration, but it will update the turn-based combat mechanics and the various options for research, recruiting and interaction with the various nations that are under alien attack.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown is set to arrive on the PC, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 on October 9 in the United States and on October 12 in Europe.
