Final Fantasy XV might not have an official launch date, but the developers at Square Enix working on the Japanese role-playing game are starting to offer more details about the world that gamers will be able to explore and the various challenges they will have to overcome.

A new Action Time Report stream, which takes more than two hours, features both Dan Seto, the community manager at Square Enix Europe, and game director Hajime Tabata and also delivers details about Type-0 HD.

Fans will find plenty of details to extract from the stream, which point to the way Square Enix is aiming to make Final Fantasy XV unique.

The title is set to be launched on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One.

It is designed to introduce a full open world format to the series for the first time and the developers are also saying that they will focus on characters which are closer in terms of emotions and goals to the real world.

Final Fantasy XV will also introduce a new take on the combat system that's traditionally associated with the JRPG genre.

Fans are expecting the title to be launched before the end of the year.
