The development team working on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn says that it is hard at work on update 2.1 for the MMO, which is designed to introduce a number of new features, including the ability for players to have their own houses.

Naoki Yoshida, a producer working on the title, says that his team is also working on several new dungeons, including one called Crystal Tower, based on Final Fantasy III.

Gamers will get access to 380 different items to use in order to decorate their own homes, according to Siliconera.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is also getting access to a new Player versus Player arena, called The Wolve’s Den, where two teams of four players will be able to fight to get access to a range of rewards.

Other new features planned for the MMO in update 2.1 include daily primal quests, a content finder, a beauty parlor and treasure hunts.
