14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher Square Enix has once again registered a trademark for Final Fantasy Agito, a video game project that was once associated with the wider Fabula Nova Crystallis and which was never launched on Western markets.
Agito was initially set to be connected to Final Fantasy XIII, but finally the company only delivered a PlayStation Portable game that is only available in Japan.
The new trademark does not mention the XIII universe in any way and suggests that Square Enix might be getting ready to reveal an entirely new product that uses the same name, says VG247.
The company has already promised that a new Final Fantasy title will be revealed during E3 2013, presumably linked to the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony.
Most fans presume that Versus XIII will be shown to the public in a rebooted form, but Agito could be another possibility.
