Good new and bad news for fans of Fez, the quirky puzzle platformer coming from developer Polytron to the Xbox 360, as the title has received a brand new video, but has also been delayed once more.

Fez impressed lots of indie game fans many years ago with its interesting, pixelated visual style and the premise of offering levels that play with your eyes and mind through careful illusions and shifts from 2D and 3D perspectives.

Sadly, the game, which was initially set to appear last year for the Xbox 360 console as a downloadable title via the Xbox Live Arcade, has now been delayed once more, with its lead creator, Phil Fisher, confirming on his Twitter account, via XBLAfans, that early 2012 is the new estimated release period.

Thankfully, he also presented a new video, basically an animated screenshot, which shows off the changes in perspective that will be possible in the actual levels of the game. As such, until 2012, enjoy the Fez video above.
