Video game publisher Ubisoft might have not officially announced Far Cry 4, but evidence is mounting that the title is under development already, with a reveal probably coming around E3 2014.

A CV from Xavier Plagnal, seen by Videogamer, mentions that he is currently working as a content director on the next Far Cry video game at the Ubisoft Shanghai studio, a position he has occupied since September last year.

The company has a tradition of using multiple studios spread around the world to create its big franchises and that means it's likely that there are other teams currently involved with Far Cry 4.

In 2013, composer Cliff Martinez mentioned that he was involved with the shooter and rumors suggest that Ubisoft is aiming to build on the legacy of the third game in the series, which has generated impressive sales.

The nature of the Far Cry series has changed with every new installment and it will be interesting to see how the development team will change the core mechanics this time around.
