A brand new report has appeared online concerning Far Cry 4, the next game in Ubisoft's first-person shooter series, this time claiming that the title will take place in the Himalayas mountain range and is currently set to debut in the first few months of 2015.

Ubisoft's Far Cry series has experienced a huge success with 2012's Far Cry 3 and its Blood Dragon expansion, and the large publisher has already tasked a group of its internal studios with working on the next iteration as soon as possible.

Now, Eurogamer reports a few actual details about Far Cry 4.

The new title is apparently set in the Himalayas, with players being able to explore the snowy mountain ranges of that iconic location even while riding on elephants, in a massive change of pace from the other games in the series.

Besides these actual titles, the website claims that Ubisoft will reveal Far Cry 4 at E3 2014 in June and that it's aiming at a release in early 2015, before the company's financial year end on March 31.

Far Cry 4 is apparently set to appear for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, according to the same report, so it seems that Ubisoft is already abandoning last-gen consoles like PS3 or Xbox 360.
