Gamers can learn more about the core mechanics

The team at Ubisoft in charge of the coming Far Cry 4 is delivering the launch trailer for the game despite the fact that it will not be available until next week, allowing gamers to take a look at the core elements of the open world that they will be able to explore when they travel to Kyrat for the first time.

The footage does not introduce anything entirely new, and long-term fans of the franchise will be disappointed that no feature is being showcased.

Ubisoft states, "Traveling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother’s dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min. Explore and navigate this vast open world, where danger and unpredictability lurk around every corner. Here, every decision counts, and every second is a story."

Far Cry 4 will be offered on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and last-gen consoles and is set to keep the core ideas of the series and to introduce a wide range of new concepts, including a world where choice matters more than before.

The combat sequences are more elaborate, gamers will be able to use elephants to take out enemies, and a mission included in the Season Pass will allow them to hunt down Yetis.
