Ubisoft has just rolled out a brand new gameplay video for the first big expansion for Far Cry 4 – Escape from Durgesh Prison – walking players through the challenging experience that's coming later today, January 13.

Far Cry 4 rolled out across the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms back in November of last year, delivering a stellar first-person shooter experience that let players loose on the open world of Kyrat.

The game had plenty of missions, and thanks to its cooperative and competitive modes, it entertained players for a very long time.

Today, January 13, marks the release date of the first major expansion from Far Cry 4, which is called Escape from Durgesh Prison.

The add-on takes players on a timed mission in which they have to escape the infamous prison territory of Kyrat in just 30 minutes. What's more, dying during the sequence is permanent, as players will have to restart it from the beginning.

In order to show just how the intense mission can play out, Ubisoft has rolled out a brand new gameplay walkthrough video that depicts a fairly normal Escape from Durgesh Prison playthrough.

Players can tear down propaganda posters and complete karma events to get more time on the clock, while specific missions can also be completed to unlock better defenses at the end, where they have to survive waves of enemies.

Check out the new video below.
