Reveal could happen at VGX 2014 in December

A brand new trademark for Fallout: Shadow of Boston has just appeared in certain European territories and seems to be filed by Bethesda itself, although it could be just a hoax, like many other Fallout 4-related rumors.

Bethesda's Game Studios division has been working hard on a new title for quite some time, after completing the stellar The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim back in 2011. Many rumors speculate that the new game is Fallout 4, but as always, the studio is staying silent about its future plans.

Now, after plenty of hoaxes and wild rumors, a brand new report has surfaced online, via NeoGAF, confirming that trademarks for Fallout: Shadow of Boston have been filed in Germany, the UK, and in Europe overall.

All of these filings claim to be on behalf of Bethesda, but like many times before, they could be just elaborate hoaxes.

Even so, considering that the big VGX 2014 event is set to take place in December, it's possible that Bethesda is preparing to reveal the long-awaited game at that time. The Boston setting has been consistently rumored over the years for Fallout 4, so it's quite possible that the eventual game will take place in that region of the United States.

Expect to hear more soon enough.
