John Gonzales, the leading writer who has worked on Fallout: New Vegas, is now employed by developer Guerrilla Games, which has once again stocked rumors that the company is working on an open world role-playing and shooter hybrid.

NeoGAF says that the developer is now listed as the lead writer at the studio that most recently launched Killzone: Shadow Fall.

His job description says that he specializes in the creation of storytelling for open world role-playing games.

Rumors that appeared before the launch of the PlayStation 4 suggested that Guerrilla Games had a smaller team exploring the initial ideas for an open world title that would be launched on the Sony console in the future.

The game would be designed to show what the new hardware could deliver when it came to player freedom and choice.

At the moment, the team is working on more content for Killzone: Shadow Fall.
