The EA Sports-created Team of the Year for the Ultimate Team in FIFA 15 is now out and it seems that one direct result has been the proliferation of fake support accounts that try to trick gamers into giving out personal information by offering them access to supposed free content for the football simulation.

The warning comes from the official Twitter account of the company and all fans are advised to try and stay safe by looking for the verified seal on any account that says it is associated with the title and by making sure that they do not trust those who ask for login information.

For FIFA 15, the development team at EA Sports has upgraded the security of the web-based app and has taken steps to eliminate cheaters as fast as possible from the Ultimate Team mode.

The moves have resulted in a more level playing field and in a smaller amount of problems for members of the community.

But the groups looking to prey on FIFA 15 players have evolved themselves and are now trying to mimic the look of the official EA Sports account and trick gamers into offering their personal info.

The team of the year was revealed last night and includes: Neuer, David Luiz, Lahm, Thiago Silva, Sergio Ramos, Di Mario, Kroos, Iniesta, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Robben.
