14 DAY TRIAL // John Needham, the leader of developer Lionhead, says that the newly announced Fable Legends needs to offer a lot of content for players to explore because it is the only major title in the series that will be launched in the next 5 to 10 years.
He tells GamesIndustry.biz that, “There needs to be a lot of stuff to do, it needs to integrate all the cloud and Xbox One features so we keep our community alive and growing. It’s big and ambitious, but it needs to be because it’s going to be around a long time.”
Fable Legends is designed to offer a persistent online experience with four players taking part in cooperative events.
Gamers will also be able to choose whether they want a good or bad character.
Fable Legends takes place a thousand years before the events of the main series. The game does not yet have a launch date.
