Video game developer Lionhead says that there’s no chance that it will launch Fable Anniversary on the new Xbox One home console from Microsoft, but it might deliver a PC version of the game at some point in the future.

Ted Timmins, the lead designer working on the project, tells VideoGamer that, “Our team is so focused on Fable Legends on Xbox One, and I wouldn't want to distract them with another title, given that the reason for Fable Anniversary is to sort of close off the Fable Xbox 360 chapter, if you will.”

The developer encourages PC-focused fans to continue talking with Lionhead on the official forums and express their desires in order to generate the interest required for the approval of a port.

Fable Anniversary is set to include High Definition graphics and Achievements and will be launched at some point in February 2014.
