After launching a teaser trailer earlier today, Lionhead has confirmed that its next project is Fable Anniversary, a special experience that contains the original Fable 1 and Fable: The Lost Chapters remastered in high-definition for the Xbox 360.

The Fable series has been around for some time, with Fable 2, 3, and The Journey being released on the Xbox 360 over the years.

During this time, fans have asked developer Lionhead to re-release the original Fable 1 and its The Lost Chapters edition quite often.

Now, the studio has confirmed that it's going to do just that with Fable Anniversary, a special edition of the game that's going to be released for the Xbox 360 this holiday season.

The games will see lots of improvements besides visual ones, with a better user interface, faster loading times, smoother controls, and a special save system, not to mention leaderboards for things like chicken kicking.

The details were revealed in a new podcast by Xbox Live Community Manager Larry Hryb, so expect some more details soon, probably at E3 2013 next week.
