The development team at EA Sports announces that it has taken down the web-based application that allows players to access the Ultimate Team mode for the FIFA series in order to get it ready for the launch of the next game in the series.

The FIFA 14 version of Ultimate Team will be delivered on September 15 and will allow all players to create their own teams and challenge friends.

The official Twitter message from EA Sports about the Ultimate Team app states, "The Web App is now down to prepare for the #FUT14 Webstart on Sep 15th. #FUT is still accessible through console. #FUT"

The full FIFA 14 experience will be out on September 24 in the United States and three days later in Europe, on the PC and all other game consoles.

The game includes a bigger focus on realism and on the impact of individual players.
