FIFA 16 has just received a short teaser trailer ahead of the full reveal of the soccer simulator on June 15, during Electronic Arts' E3 2015 press conference.

The FIFA series has been around for many years, and while some yearly iterations have fared better than others, it's currently top dog when it comes to soccer simulators, managing to trump its long-standing rival, Konami's PES franchise.

After having showcased some early details about FIFA 16, including the fact that it would feature, for the first time ever, female soccer players, Electronic Arts is preparing to share more details next week, on June 15, during its own E3 2015 press event.

Until then, for fans who can no longer wait, a brief teaser trailer has just been shared by the official Twitter account, showcasing FC Barcelona and FIFA 16 cover star Lionel Messi walking around a stadium.

The narrator also emphasizes the nature of football, which brings people together all around the world.

Unfortunately, no other actual details are offered, so it's unclear just what other things FIFA 16 is going to bring when it arrives towards the end of September for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms. Expect to learn more on Monday, alongside a full-fledged gameplay trailer.
