Diego Costa is not among the top three in Ultimate Team

At the start of 2015, the development team at EA Sports shows that Daniel Sturridge, the attacker currently belonging to Liverpool, is the top scorer in the Premier League when the stats gathered in the Ultimate Team mode are taken into account, managing to score more than 10.2 million goals since the game was launched in late September.

The stats are surprising because in the real world the player has been sidelined with major injury for most of this period and his stats will probably see a major boost when he makes his return in the middle of January.

Second place is occupied by Loic Remy, from Chelsea, even if in the real world his teammate, Diego Costa, is much more efficient in front of goal.

Third place is occupied by Romelu Lukaku from Everton, who in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team has managed to deliver 7.8 million goals.

The rest of the top ten includes superstars like Danny Welbeck from Arsenal, Diego Costa, who costs a little too much, Eduardo Vargas, Christian Benteke, Mario Balotelli, who does not have discipline issues, and Stefan Jovetic.

In 2015, the developers at EA Sports will continue to deliver updates for FIFA 15, including new packs for Ultimate Team, while also putting together special events for the player community.
