The development team at EA Sports might be trying to make up for a relatively disappointing Team of the Week package for the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 15 by delivering a Team of the Season based on La Liga which features some impressive talent.

The official announcement explains that gamers will have a starting eleven that features:

Goalkeeper: Claudio Bravo from FC Barcelona

Defenders: Marcelo of Real Madrid, Pique from FC Barcelona, Nicolas Otamendi playing for Valencia CF, and Dani Alves of FC Barcelona

Midfielders: Grzegorz Krychowiak of Sevilla FC, Parejo from Valencia CF, and James Rodríguez playing for Real Madrid

Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, Luis S. Suarez playing for FC Barcelona, and Lionel Messi from FC Barcelona

The list of reserves for the La Liga Team of the Season is also star-studded, featuring Diego Alves from Valencia CF, Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid, Gaya playing for Valencia CF, Toni Kroos from Real Madrid, Vitolo of Sevilla FC, Antoine Griezmann playing for Atletico de Madrid, and Neymar from FC Barcelona.

EA Sports has not announced how many other such packages for Ultimate Team is planning to launch.

The company is preparing to deliver a big gameplay reveal for FIFA 16 at the coming E3 2015 event.

The title will be introduced on September 24 on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, and older devices.

FIFA 16 is the first title in the series that will feature women's national teams.
