EA Sports is finding new ways to promote the sim

The quest to show the large appeal of FIFA 15 continues for the development team at EA Sports, and a new Band Battle video linked to the football simulation title features two members of Bombay Bicycle Club who engage in three pretty tension-filled matches.

Jamie MacColl, who plays guitar, and Suren de Saram, the drummer, play out three games using teams like Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The biggest problem with the video is that it cuts out too much of the actual gameplay and it would be great to see the developers give the full actual 90 minutes to the community to watch and comment on.

FIFA 15 is at the moment nearing the end of its life cycle and EA Sports is trying to find new ways of reaching groups of potential players who may not have seen it in action before.

The biggest draw right now is the Ultimate Team mode that is getting new improved players each Wednesday in the Team of the Week.

FIFA 16 is already in development and we might get to see more information about it before the major E3 2015 event in June.
